‘Hackathon’ planned to find innovative ways to help patients take control of their care

North East Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Group is organising a special event for  the 5 and 6 of September to be held at the Bridlington Spa.

The event will bring together Local industry, Health, Social Care and Academic organisations to try and solve a real world problem, through a competitive ‘Hack’ style exercise. The prize is a substantial one, as Amazon will work with the winners to help bring the solution to market.

The challenge will be focused around supporting a citizen in their home, enabling them to be more in control of their care requirements.

There is also a Visioning Day on 31 July where briefing sessions will be held for Subject Matter experts and competitors.

The CGG is looking for support from health and social care staff in supporting competitors during the process by acting as subject matter experts.

If you feel like you would like to enter as a competitor or assist as a subject matter expert,  then please email humbercaretech@hull.ac.uk
