Covid Symptoms and Testing

Stay at home if you have COVID-19 symptoms, no matter how mild. Symptoms include a high temperature, a new, continuous cough, and a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste. To protect others if you have symptoms, stay at home. Book a test to check if you have the virus. Use the NHS 111 online coronavirus service to find out what to do.

Covid vaccines

The Covid-19 vaccine is safe and effective. It gives you the best protection against Covid-19. The roll out is well underway for the Covid vaccines, with patients being contacted by their local NHS when the vaccine is available to them. Please do not contact your GP practice regarding the Covid vaccine. Click here for more information.

Why you should have the Covid Vaccine: GP Explainer Videos

Clinical commissioning groups across the Humber, Coast and Vale NHS have come together to coordinate and promote vaccine information videos featuring local GPs.

These videos promote important messages in multiple languages to improve Covid vaccine confidence, by giving factual information about the safety and effectiveness of our UK vaccines, and to dispel any vaccine myths, especially amongst our black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) communities.
